Downtown Salem Oregon

So, Missy was really really sick for a couple weeks, and I was busy busy busy! I had to do my first engagement photoshoot all by myself! So, I was a bit nervous cause I hadn't actually met the couple yet. We decided to meet at the park and go from there. Well, they turned out to be very fun-loving and easy going about all of my suggestions. I took them to downtown Salem, and we found so many neat picture places. I think my favorite was the aqua blue tile wall! It was a blast after all, and they LOVED their pictures :)

Enjoy...

Children's Fine Art Portraits

Hola,

Long time no post! Been keeping super busy with photoshoots and booking weddings! We have had much success with booking our summer! We are very excited. Here are some pictures that I took of my son on Saturday. I am trying to sort of get away from doing pictures so much inside. With the weather being so nice, I almost want to close shop and only shoot outside! I have been inspired lately with some neat photographers who do fine art portraiture with kids, and so I am really leaning toward this look...

Before and After...

This is a fun example of our "magic"! Among many great and wonderful pictures, there is always those fussy ones that didn't quite come out the way you planned it to! So, if you just can't let it go, our solution is to fix it.

This is a picture of the bride in my most recent wedding. I love the angle and the smile and everything else but the lighting, the color, the blemishes, and the list goes on. But, who knew that there could be such an awesome picture hiding beneath all of that. Here is what I can see in a "throw away" picture ;)
