Before and After...

This is a fun example of our "magic"! Among many great and wonderful pictures, there is always those fussy ones that didn't quite come out the way you planned it to! So, if you just can't let it go, our solution is to fix it.

This is a picture of the bride in my most recent wedding. I love the angle and the smile and everything else but the lighting, the color, the blemishes, and the list goes on. But, who knew that there could be such an awesome picture hiding beneath all of that. Here is what I can see in a "throw away" picture ;)

Wedding by the Green Wall

These are some pictures from my most recent wedding. The bride was so beautiful, and they were a really fun couple to photograph. These were taken in front of a green wall that is located in Portland, Oregon at the LDS Temple. it is part of the entrance, and I really don't see a lot of pictures taken in front of it, so I like to think it was my original idea ;)

Baby's First Year

We are now offering a package called, Baby's First Year! It includes multiple sessions throughout your baby's first year of life. At the end of that time, we will compile all of the best pictures taken (and even some of your own pictures or memorabilia), and create a fun "coffee table" album. Here is just an idea of what a page might look like...

Reverse Psychology

I was recently hired to do a photoshoot of the kids I babysit once or twice a week. Interestingly, the day they were scheduled to come and take pictures, I couldn't get a smile out of them if I'da grown a tail! The next day though, they were coming over as usual, and as soon as they walked in the door, they wanted to take pictures, climing onto the set, smiling as big as they could! I amused them and we took lots of great pictures. Funny little minds.

Almost Newborn...

Here are a few shots from my most recent session. I took some of a three month old baby girl. She was so sweet, and we were tickled that she was able to fall asleep at the very end of our time frame. Although session had just finished, I decided to shoot these ones anyway, and I am so glad we did. Her Mom is coming to view them all tomorrow and I hope she's as pleased as I am. I am also including one of her big sis...

First Entry Ever!

Well, I am creating my new blog and am very excited to be able to post whatever I want! For my first introduction, I want to put up a new favorite picture of my son Jackson. My sister was visiting and kept an eye on him while I took a shower, when I was finished, she had taken this awsome picture and touched it up with our fun new Kevin Kabota Actions! I love this picture, enjoy... Oh, and to view more pictures of children and babies, visit http://www.artisanphotographics.com/portraits.html
